Bimbis is a very old and reputed restaurant in Cochin. The menu never disappoints and quality is consistent. There are options from South Indian to Chinese to North Indian served with adequate cleanliness.
This used to be one of the only North Indian Joint in Kochi which serves good Chat and samoosas . They have good Sweet shop also .
whenever I visit ernakulam I try to visit this restaurant because It has north indian cuisine .now it has a confectionary section and a chaat area.its also a good hangout place .ideal for a evening tea .
pani puri did not have cold water, not delicious, the samosa chat was very average. I will not recommend this place except for those who want to buy north indian sweets.
This is not the Bimbis I used to visit in 90’s. now very dirty with stains. Service was miserable. Menu is also not as good as before.
Good restaurant serving south Indian and North Indian food. Go through the menu card and decide what to eat before you order.
