SERVICE IS THE SLOWEST OF ALL . THEY THINK THEY ARE OLD RESTAURANT SO CUSTOMER WILL FOLLOW .THEY DONT CARE AT ALL .We order idly but it was not so soft as compared to other restaurants like ottupura or sree Krishna in .
Had the lunch buffet. Food was just ok. Nothing special. Ambience was good and staff was friendly. Service was slow. The food tray on buffet was mostly empty with repeated request to staff to refill. Tomato soup and sweet corn soup was good. Chilli gobi was nice but the tray was empty most of time. Other regular kerala style veg dishes for meals were alright. Gulab jamun was the dessert. Old time hotel needs lot of catching up with new age restaurants. Very slow to refresh the food in the trays. Lot of people at lunch time made waiting for food in the buffet that much longer.
Good food and not too expensive. Good Kerala style dishes and certainly yummy. Good choice of snacks too. Be sure to give it a go. One of the oldest and better restaurants in the area, it still lives up to it’s standards and history
Used to be one of the best vegetarian restaurants in this area. The quality of service has down and even the staff service is very slow. Did not expect such an experience from one of oldest restaurant in Kochi.
Good vegetarian food, easily accessible by road and rail. Clean and tidy restaurant. Good service. Ample parking space for two and four wheelers.
Head to Kousthubham restaurant inside dwaraka hotel for amazing masala dosas when you are around MG Road. Also their strong coffee and rasavada. Unlike what we get in south of Kerala, here they use uzhunnuvada for rasavada.
This is one of the oldest and a well known vegetarian hotel in Kochi. Visited this place after almost more than 10 years. The quantity of dishes in their menu has reduced but they have maintained the quality. Seems they have not been able to keep pace with the growing Kochi city and the presence of a huge number of variety and international food outlets have hampered their business. If you are looking for a quality veg cuisine especially dosas, chapattis and veg sabhjis with a quite and not that gr8 ambience in the middle of Ernakulam city then you are at the right place.
