not good
I ordered their combo meal through Swiggy. The food was very good, nothing particularly special, it was really simple but delicious. I liked the chilly chicken very much, but the package leaked a little, I dont know if its the Swiggy delivery guy’s fault though.There was ample quanity of noodles & chilly chicken for just Rs.99 (combo meal through Swiggy). Its budget friendly & quality of food is also great. This review is solely based on the food delivered.

Ordered appam and stew from here. Quality was ok but not impressive enough for four stars. I may try the beef and coin paratha the next time that I order from here.
Travancore court is a well kept and well located hotel in kochi.. easy to spot..my last visit here was a year back and i remember the buffet served here was the best then.. I have heard it belongs to mohanlal.. and a great collection of his paintings and artifacts are displayed here:)Food-4/5Service-3/5Ambience-4/5
I visited this hotel cafe for a deal through nearbuy dot com. The deal promised unlimited savouries and pastries at Rs.159. So me an my wife bought a coupon each and called up the hotel for booking as mandated in the voucher. Frankly the staff had no idea what the voucher meant and that their management had announced such a deal. After some frantic phone calls they finally asked us to come. We took our 8 yr old daughter along. We ordered a separate a-la-carte dish of french fries for her. When we checked the availability they only had two types of pastries and one savoury item. We ordered for what they had. When the food was served the manager came and told us that we cannot give anything to our daughter and we will have to have another voucher for her to let her be seated at the place.Because of this inhospitable attitude and rude behaviour we left without having anything. It is really strange that big hotels like Travancore court do not have decent and polite employees particularly when they are into the hospitality business. It was really sad to be subjected to such impropriety.
I had been here couple of times for Lunch buffet and once for Dinner buffet. Dinner buffet was just awesome as it had so many varieties of dishes especially in the desserts and salads. The price was absolutely justifying the number of varieties of items served. We got few corporate discounts when we went for team lunch. You can spot mallu celebrities over there most of the time, including Mohan Lal :). Overall good experience.
