This place just gave us one of the best food experience in Kochi! The prawns steamed in banana leaf and the fish curry with tapioca were so delicious. If you are in Kochi – do visit this place. Oh! The ambience is great as well. Ajeesh was very sweet and polite to recommend the best dishes.
Great food and good ambiance..good options for vegetarians, sea food and meat lovers. They also serve a five course tasting menu but unfortunately it’s not served during lunch. Highly recommend this place.
Excellent . Amazing. Cant miss. Wonderful food. Enjoyed every dish we ordered. The restaurant deserves a Michelin star. Come to this place every time we visit fort Kochi.
We went to this place out of curiosity and were mind blown! The ambience of the place is indescribable. Live music was being played and the staff was very friendly and courteous. We opted for the veg tasting menu and live oysters. It was my first time trying oysters and it went beyond my expectations. The tasting menu consisted of 5 courses and each of them was perfect. The prices are quite high but it’s worth the unique experience.
Came here for one meal, stayed for all meals! This restaurant is within the Eighth Bastion Hotel, a hidden gem with its entrance open onto the beach side. It’s gastronomic manna courtesy of Chef Mathias. Try the Mappas or Kadalai curry if you’re veg or if Chef’s willing even a simple bhindi fry. The flavour is distinct, subtle and outright unforgettable. Had pork chops in one of our meals which was brilliantly seasoned down to the bone. For desserts, I’d recommend ordering one of each 🙂 I ordered the creme brulee french toast thrice. If you’re in town, consider dropping by a few hours ahead and asking Chef for what he’d like to you to try today. He’ll blow your mind. Equally, walk in and order off the menu. Just leave your new year resolutions aside.
Good place to chill ar pound with friends. Visited this place really late in the night. Still was not disappointed at all. The vibes are killing and are the drinks. Loved it to the core.
Very cordial staff and great food. The ambience is great too. The breakfast buffet was tempting though we tried off the menu. The carrot cake is to die for.
