Over hyped place. Stay away.Completely amazed that how majority is finding this place as one of the best food joint in Fort Kochi. We visited here for dinner with family during our visit to Fort Kochi.Ambiance: Good but not very clean. Seating is a bit cramped.Food we ordered: In started we ordered Desi Fish and Chips. It was Basa Fish and the only saving grace in all the items ordered. Crisp with balanced taste. Potato fries served with it were crisp but lack salt/taste. Even though in menu it was written that this dish will be served with Mayo, but no Mayo was given even after multiple reminders. Next starter was Chicken Pakora. Literally no taste, completely bland. In main course we ordered Paneer Butter Masala that was just Ok. Dal Tadka had excessive salt. In breads, we ordered Butter Naan that was just fine but didn’t tasted like Naan at all. Malabar Parotta was fine though.Service: This is the worst part. Pathetic service. We waited almost 30 minutes for starters and 45 minutes for main course. Then their attitude and response towards our requests is something that made us leave the place in bad taste.
A nice place close to St Francis church to have lip smacking food. The quality of the food served is good. We liked the Paneer malai tikka, egg fried rice and chicken biryani.
Great vegetarian food ,stuffed grilled mushrooms a standout and artistic presentation.Helpful attentive friendly staff.Great value, better tastier food than other more expensive restaurants like Malabar House.Had 3 meals here and all were memorable.
Now this is what I needed.I had been out of north India just hours before I began craving those delicious breads and spicy-exploding curries. These guys smashed out exactly what I needed when I needed it. Bread was good, gravy was great. I really don’t have anything bad to say. Yes perhaps it was slightly on the pricy side but so what, I’m glad they put a premium price on their premium offering. I would return. It could also be the case that I’m slightly biased as I prefer North Indian to South Indian cuisine, however this was my favourite meal in Kochi by a distance.
This is must visit place in Fort Kochi. Everything on the menu is well cooked and delicious. Food, service and ambience is great!
Food was excellent. We were 4 of us and ordered Paneer Tikka Lababdar and Punjabi Chole with crispy Tandoori Rotis. The dishes were the yummiest I’ve had for a very long time.Great service, amazing ambience, courteous staff and yummy dishes! A must visit for anyone within Kochi or visiting the city.Note to management: We were charged Rs. 20 for onions when called for the second time. No restaurant charges for it. It ruins the experience. Without this issue, I’d have definitely given you 5 stars!
Everything is so nice about this restaurant. Ambience is so nice. We reached restaurant by closing time but they still invited us and served the best food. The best briyani I ever had in kochin. Fired Fish with French fries is damn good. Music is mild. Staff are super friendly. Never miss this place when you visit Fort kochi.
