About
Situated at the northeastern end of the century old Cochin club, The drawing room is a lovely restaurant that resembles a quaint spanish patio. Enter through the arched doorway into a garden patio that leads to a roofed space with windows to views of the arabian sea and the ships that frequently sail by to and from the harbour nearby. With a menu that leans towards fresh seafood, the restaurant also offers a variety of soups, salads, Tapas style platters and mains. The atmosphere is elegant, yet casual. A quirky melange of scattered furniture, mixed china and whimsical mural art. Interestingly the vibe of the space transforms itself at night from a casual cafe to a space of warmth and elegance. Besides the excellent fare, The Drawing Room is also memorable for the music. In addition to the garden patio space that lends itself to occasional live performances, there always is interesting music that play at all times. It isn't just an eatery or a restaurant. Its a space that lends itself to all one's senses!
