An old restaurant in MG road that serves decent food. Cochin restaurant is owned by ‘Polakulath’ group of hotels & resorts.The chicken biriyani I had was not so great but normal.They serve good fish curry meals and veg meals. They should work more on the ambience and cleanliness. Disappointed with the service. They even take time to take an order.
A normal restaurant. Nothing fancy. We ordered meals and what came to our table was fish curry meals despite specifically asking for veg meals. Server boy refused to take the fish curry back saying both veg and fish curry meals costs the same.
Place which serves decent food . Nothing great . Speedy service. Not a neat and tidy place . Service also needs more improvement. Had kerala porotta , chicken curry , and chilly chicken. Porotta and chilly chicken was okay . Chicken curry is not recommended!!!
A clean place with adequate seating, commendable service and good food. Even though there is no stand out dish as such, the Kalam Biriyani served here is a must try.
Food was good and worthy of its price. Not so great ambience, but commendable service. Just the right place to dine if you are in city and do not want to drive far after your shopping.
I was in MG Road,Cochin for a visit and was thinking of a good place for breakfast. This restaurant came to my notice as it’s located in the prime location in MG Road.Had Chappathi and Egg Masala. There were 3 big chappathis and 2 eggs in Egg masala. It was tasty and loved it. Especially the masala. Ordered tea and it was served hot and I loved it. The staff who gave me breakfast was very friendly and courteous. Went for lunch and had bad experience. It was super crowded and there was only one waiter in the AC restaurant. He mixed up our food and had to wait at least an hour to get the food. Had Chicken Biriyani and it was great though. Cheers!
