Biriyani tasted very normal. Nothing special. Chicken biriyani I’m talking about or at least placed the order for. But sadly all i received was rice gravy and bones. Yes. You heard me bones. Got a rib cage and a bone of a leg piece. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t because they ran out of chicken because i was most certainly their first customer of the day. And then when i called them up to complain the guy who picked the call kept justifying. He kept saying no those weren’t bones he’d taken a look. I was like wtf. Dude I’m looking at the chicken pieces you are talking about. There’s no hint of meat in it. For that he said he’ll serve it better the next time. As if I’d even think about going back.1.5 points because egg and pappadam in biriyani.
Food was delivered at a quick speed. But it needs to be cooked more. We ordered alfaham and chicken biryani.Alfaham was good but chicken biryani was just average .
It was my first visit on this Monday .me and my friend ordered chicken Biryani.perfectly cooked.reasonable price and reasonable quantity. I love that beetroot pickle too..
I first visited Malabar Biryani house nearly 10 years back. A decade later, the quality of the biryani served up by this small outlet remains the same. There are maybe 6 or 7 tables and the place is really tiny. True to its name, the place offers just biryanis, chicken and mutton I can offer comments on and egg and veg which I’ve never bothered eating. Leave ambience and other fine dine elements off the table when you think of visiting this place. But the biryani is excellent and in keeping with its Malabar roots, the flavours are mild yet lip smacking. The chicken version costs 120 rupees and comes along with raita, pickle, pappad and sulaimani. Unlike several other biryani places in town, Malabar house biryani along with 2 average sized chicken pieces and an egg. The biryani is a bit on the greasy side but good enough to get you back in there for more.
My favourite place for Biriyani.I must say the real Malabar Biriyani and it’s yumm and worthy. The taste has been the same as ever.Mutton Biriyani is only available at noon.the add ons they give with the biriyani makes us feel happy and special.Must try out guys
I was in my way back to Chennai from Vagamon and took parcel of chicken and mutton Biriyani from this small place. The food was awesome and wondered why I didn’t order extra packet .this is pure Kerala style biriyani and wondering why the reviews are poor for this hotel.Go for this hotel after a warm walk on marine drive
