Before the metro work started and it became impossible to park in front of Sani, this was a much frequented place of mine. I’ve never tried anything other than the chicken and mutton biryani which are hands down one of the best in class in Cochin. There are several pretenders to the throne of “Best biryani joint in Kochi”, Sani used to be a real contender for the title. PS: I cannot attest to its present status.

The whole place is filled with the aroma of biryani spices.Food is really tasty and pocket friendly but the ambience is something I don’t want to rate. Mutton and chicken biryani is a must try.
We had dinner here on our way from Fort Kochi. We wanted Sweet Corn Chicken soup by they had only Chicken Clear soup. Apart from it we ordered Veg Fried rice, Mutton Roast (which was not dry but with gravy) and Chicken Butter Masala. The food was average but the staff was courteous. They don’t accept card in this Modi era.
I hav been visiting this place since I was a kid, the food is gud wn compared to other such hotels, at times I hav felt their food quality drops, may b it happens when d chef changes or somthing. But the staffs r really friendly n warm,
One among the best place to get fresh tasty Biryani. Rates too are affordable here. If you are a person who loves biryani or normal good quality meals I recommend this place although parking still is a problem.
