Food at night isn’t that fresh and I get indigestion at night for the Murgh Makhani but it is a very nice lunchtime dish.Good ambience and ok lunch buffets!!! A bit expensive but ok if the home delivered food was up to par at night time!!!
Food – 3/5Ambience – 3.5/5Service – 3.5/5We tried the A la-carte option, the seafood chowder soup was amazing. Rest we went for Kerala dishes. The fish pollichathu was great. So was beef coconut fry. Chicken biryani was good, nothing extraordinary. Porotta and appam were good too. We will definitely be back to try the buffet here.
I went their their with my whole family on Christmas day. I booked a table for 12 for Xmas lunch buffet and i was indeed enthralled by the culinary experience. One crucial element I noticed was the professional service meted out to the diners. Also the food varieties were simply a feast for all those who deserve a worthy meal. The lunch buffet was not very expensive. The Duck Mappas was particularly well cooked . So overall I would rate it highly and in the future will recommend anyone to go here and eat to their fullest.
Mediocre breakfast buffet spread. Predominantly South Indian stuff – the fluffy appam, the springy Idlis, the crisp wadas, the masala uttappam. Omelettes and Dosa counter. Chicken sausages. Breads. A Mixed fruit juice. A strawberry milk. Some basic Continental. Muffins and French roll. No exotica, No sweet cakes, tea time fruit cakes or donuts. No North Indian variety. No savouries. But they make up for the noise with quality. A big yesss.Meanwhile the stay at the hotel was extremely pleasant.1) Large Rooms. Great leg space. An extra brownie point just for that2) Decent, adequate lighting. No issues.3) The fifth floor window overlooked the faraway roads and the plantain trees.4) Mid-sized bathroom. Minimal fuss. Basic amenities.5) LG 32 inches LCD TV.6) Two 1000 ml water bottles complementary. Adequate. No penny pinching here.7) Green carpet on the floor. Moss like. Gave it an ethereal feel.8) A writing table, a TV Cabinet, another open cabinet and then a large size hole in the wall cabinet, two comfy chairs and a small dining table. All in a row. That large a size of the room.9) Decently functioning wifi.At the price, a much higher value for money than most others. Go for it. sanjaynpunjabi.blogspot.com
had been to Abad regency couple of time with family when I have traveled to Cochin. was made to know that it is one of the best in Cochin. Not overly excited neither was i disappointed.Food: 4/5 – we went for the Ala Carte although we also had a Buffet option. the food was overall good and the Fish was awesome. Ambiance: 3/5 a little crowded for my liking. Live singer singing gazals was an added attraction. Service: 3.0/5 – the ground staff were good catering to the needs but i felt they were understaffed resulting in long wait time for the food and service, Overall – a good place to visit for the food but did not find anything overtly exciting about the place
Abad Plaza, been here on official trips, personal trips. Food and ambiance good. Service is maintained according to the hotel standards. 3+ nidheeshn.com
Visiting Abad after a gap of nearly 4 years. The spread was far ok. The portugese fish was awesome. They could ve increased the no of non veg dishes. My wife enjoyed the Singapore chicken. I had kallappam and beef along with salad. The dessert spread d ve been better.Live music. Totally worth for 400/-I will definitely come back here.
