This restaurant goes somewhere in between thatukkada and regular restaurant. Their main highlights are their super crispy Porotta and Chicken Chukka. They also serve amazing Beef Roast. In the evening one must try their Shawarmas. For breakfast they serve good appams and idlis. It goes without saying that everyone should have their Porotta and Chicken Chukka.

They make in large quantities so sometimes u might get pieces of beef fry that r not properly deep fried.thats the only thing I would point out for them to improve. Been a regular to this place for a long time.

Porotta is super good, it is crispy and your usual beef roast is pretty good too. You might feel this combo of porotta and beef is pocket-friendly. Afraid not. Two sets cost Rs. 150, which puts Zion’s place above all thattu kadas.
Not even single star, but not able to post comments without rating. The manager/owner at the cash counter, a senior person around 60-65 yrs old, very indecent and using very local abusive words at the customer, he is throwing away money in an uncultured manner. TRY STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT.
You get one of the best Kerala porottas in town here. They are famous for their porotta – beef combo. What started as a thattu kada, is now a good small restaurant. Don’t expect much of an ambience here, but the food is good and also the waiters there are quite friendly.
I’m not planning to criticize this small restaurant like I do to other multi outlet ones. Here it’s all avg. They need to improve so many things if I point out one by one. So I’m not going to do so. I’m just saying the pros here, main thing is the food in here is so cheap and steamy. I tried chicken alfaham which is just ohk. I ate better ones from cafe de Arabia and all but it’s ohk. Not so bad and not so good lies in the margin. I recommend those people with low budget and ohk with small conjusted environment to here. Peace out ✌
This is a small fast food place. The food here is great. Ordered porotta and beef fry. The beef fry was really great hot and spicy.I really enjoyed the place.The service was really fast. The key with such small eatery is you have to know what to order. Everything on the menu won’t be great. So far Chicken chukka, beef fry everything on those lines have been perfect
