Had been going here a few times, just to have the ammachis pazhamkanji. But always end up hearing that it is over. But finally managed to get hands on this precious stuff today and its awesome! Pappadavada is a good place for authentic malayalee food and finger licking food!
Was a really disappointing experience.. As a biriyani lover I ordered chicken biriyani but it was really below average one. Chicken was too salty, couldn’t even finish the food. Service was good though.
Overly hyped one. Average food shop. I tried every shops of them. I didn’t find any yummy dishes from there. Totally disappointed on there fake hype in social media.
I had ordered twice from pappadavada , but both times after making the payment, i received a call from the shop informing that the items were sold out. Either they should mark items as sold out or if they are so busy they should stop accepting online orders. Really pathetic service. Fed up!
The place is located almost at the heart of the city which makes it easily accessible to anyone who is in the City. The place is unique for it styling and the way the walls are designed. The food was really good and the staff was really courteous.
I have been to this place quite a few times and very honestly they have gone down in quality, hygiene as well as service. Lunch used to be served on banana leaves and to be honest, such places always leave a special mark for me and which is one the reasons why I have kept on going back there. Their beef roast used to be yum and still occasionally the memories of the beef roast makes me want to go back there. What made me go there in the evenings was the launch of their meenvandi – basically a live fish counter, which used to serve shallow fried fish. Though the fish in the beginning used to be really fresh and worth the price, later on I had noticed a drop in quality and therefore have not ordered it in the recent past. The ambience of the restaurant takes you back a bit in time, gives the feel of an old ‘chaya kada’, though not over done it as well. Though this place is known for its payzhamkanji – never have had the chance to have that and so will be going back there one more time to try that out as well.
did not receive all items in the list.
