This was a hotspot for our friends and family during college days! They have both Northern and Southern Indian food and if you like fusion of foods then go for a combination of both.Their Indianised Chinese is also worth trying.Butter chicken is yummy but it’s not like the typical ones you get in Northern India. colonelsambrosia.wordpress.com
Yet another survivor restaurant, form the yesteryears. Of course, it underwent a major renovation and is not a function hall-motel-restaurant setup somewhere in between, The restaurant acts like a highway hotel – a regular with many folks who travel on the MC road. known best for their Porottas, and of course the Beef dishes. They have a full menu, but not all of it is as good – they are a typical kerala cuisine based restaurant – do not expect north Indian dishes to be very good. Expect the dishes to be on the spicy side unless you inform the waiter in advance.Do expect the prices to be slightly higher than what you would expect in a restaurant of this level – particularly the curries. The Kerala cuisine dishes are usually reasonably good. Their Chinese food is average. Do try the Beef double fry, beef roast, chicken roast/curry etc, along with the Porottas/appams.They do have good parking space, which is a major relief. Used to go here regularly years back for lunch and dinner when we used to visit trivandrum. I remember having their meals with fish or chicken for lunch most of the time
Fast service, tasty food and ample parking. Dishes I recommend- Kerala Parotta, Appam, Beef Double Fry and Chicken Fry. Its good for small groups. Their kitchen is very clean, no complaints on the hygiene front. Some say the waiters are curt but I feel they’re non nonsense.
