Do not think twice about Blue Elephant, just head over there ASAP.While deciding or waiting for the food , sip on their Blood Orange and Passionfruit drink, an interesting combination of flavours.Food eaten :Goan Beef Tenderloin Chilli – the beef was so tender and juicy.Goan Prawns Curry – flavour was light and refreshing. Tasted even better with their home made bun.Lemongrass Chicken and Rice – simple and fresh , served with a fried egg, perfect meal for one. (Actually, all their meals are perfect for 1)Thai Red Chicken Curry and Veg Fried Rice – Another amazing dish where the flavour of the curry was so light and yummy, rice was cooked to perfection.Moving on to dessert , we tried the Flourless Chocolate Cake served with Fresh Whipped Cream. The cream was so light and airy, almost cloud like and the cake was too good, a must try for Chocoholics. Also had the Kahlua Tiramisu, hit the spot I must say.Perfect food for this monsoon season, kudos to the team 🙂
A wonderful place for a heavenly meal conceived by an innovative chef, with a fusion of Oriental and Malabar cuisine, adding up to an extremely desirable experience.Try out their highly innovative prawn and chicken dishes, specially made by herbs grown in their own garden. They are extremely polite and courteous and strive hard to make you feel elated and happy. The price is well worth the magnificent experience. Go for it.
I had heard so many good reviews about their food. Never had the opportunity to visit until today. This is a very small outlet that can seat some 15 folks at a time. I went there intending to try out their specialty coastal cuisine (which to me is just fish since I’m allergic to prawns). But they said their menu is seasonal and they didn’t have any fish items on their menu today. The owner was kind enough to explain what’s available and what’s not. We ordered Basil Chicken with rice(which apparently is a new addition to their menu) and Goan Beef Tenderloin Chilly. Both dishes tasted really good, especially the very little broth or gravy used in the dishes. We found ourselves wiping the plates clean with the breads served with the beef dish. The food here is definitely worth visiting this restaurant for. Will definitely go back to try their other specialties.
Tried this place after a lot of recommendations. The interiors have been done in a classic italian style, with 3 tables. Service was good and the food even more so.Tried the Goan Chilly Beef which was the highlight.. generous slices of beef with sauce and veggies, Goan chicken curry with bao was good.. and finally an apple tart.. which was a tad too sweet for my palatte.Overall, good experience. Will be coming back to try the famous prawns here.
The place has really good food. What I felt was for the price tag, the quantity is less( it’s the opinion of myself and a friend who visited). One must really try this place at least once.
A small place which serves some good Goan delicacies. We had their signature Blue elephant prawns and goan chilli beef. Both were really nice. Palvalova dessert which we had was also nice. Their pricing is lil on the higher side considering the quantity they provide.
I happened to order food through Zomato and seeing the prizes, I expected a posh place with some awesome cuisine. It’s possible they might match up to it. But my advice to people would be not to order food on Zomato from here. I happened to order their signature dishes which happened to be Blue Elphant Shrooms and similar dish of prawns which cost me an exorbitant 350 and 450 Rs respectively. The dish was decent but the portion size was shocking. It wasn’t even to the quarter of a plastic box which they had packaged and sent and wasn’t enough for even one person. Maybe you can try and visit the place and see if it’s different.
