Years back I was a regular customer of Ammas bakery in Bangalore. The pasteries used to be cheap and tasted fresh and was really good.So when my husband told me that they have started an outlet here in Thrissur, i wanted to visit the place asap.I have to say I was disappointed. Either my tastebuds have developed or Ammas have gone back in terms of their quality.I ordered their black forest & chocolate truffle cake. Cost is very economical (hense the 3 star) & like most pasteries in Tcr it wasnt watery. But taste was not as good as I expected. So the search for good pastery in Thrissur continues.
