I am a regular customer to this restaurant since its inception in 2015. The restaurant is mainly noted for their Dosas. They provide different variants of Dosas and its mentioned as 41 dosas on their menu card. I use to find time to visit this restaurant whenever I come to my native place. I personally like their Paneer Dosa, chettinad masala Dosa and chettinad set dosa. Chettnad dosas found unique to me as I haven’t found these types of Dosa in any of the restaurants in Bangalore .The accompaniments provided were 2 variants of chutneys and sambar. The red color chutney was good and it’s bit hot in terms of taste. The other two accompaniments were decent. The quantity of the accompaniments were not that much ample for finishg one Dosa but you can ask them to refill it if it runs out before finishing up your food.Ample car parking facility is available at the entrance.Customer Service:Service was good so far. Most of the staffs will be north Indians including the waiter and the cook. There is a malayali manager as well whom you can approach if you find any difficult in giving your order to them.Personal favourites:My personal favourites are (1) Chettinad Masala Dosa (2)Chettinad Set DosaChettinad dosas are not commonly seen in restaurants. I have seen this variety only here so far. I personally like these 2 dosas very much. The rate of the former is Rs 100 and for the latter it is 90. Chettinad masala Dosa looks like our typical masala Dosa only but the difference comes in the masala stuffed inside. The masala is an amalgamation of potato, garlic, capsicum and condiments like chilly power which are perfectly blended together to form a masala kind paste and this paste infused into the Dosa. The taste was great and felt more of a Gobi Manchurian style. The Chettinad set Dosa is more than enough to fill your tummy. A plate will contain 3 pieces of set Dosa which will be served along with the accompaniments. The taste was also great and it will be bit spicy .Recommended Dishes:(1) Chettinad Masala Dosa(2) Chettinad Set Dosa(3) Paneer Masala Dosa(4) Ghee Roast(5) Masala Dosa(6) Fried RiceInsect Issue:We had been here on one evening for a quick bite and it happened 6 months back.On that day we ordered (1) Plain Dosa (2) Chettinad Set Dosa and (3) Ghee Roast .It didn’t take much time to reach the order to our table. After we started to eat we have notice a dead fly was lying on the Dosa which my dad had ordered. Immediately we have reported this issue to one of their staffs. Staff was a north Indian guy and he showed no reaction and said lame excuse by saying that it might happened due to the fly falling from the insect killer machine. He showed lack of politeness when we reported this case to him and a feeling of arrogance was reflecting on his face. Immediately we have reported this issue to the guy who was standing at the reception luckily he has accepted the mistake and the item was deducted from the bill. It would be better if the waiter can perform a final cross check before keeping it on the customer’s table to ensure that no dead flies/insects lay on the dish as it can defame the reputation of a restaurant.I have been here multiple times with my dad and brother and this incident happened to us only once. Apart from this we had a fine dining experience from here. This restaurant is good option for all the vegetarians who resides in Ollukkara. A perfect option to stop and take a meal if you are plying through this route. Food provided is good in terms of taste.
