It’s right in the middle of Jew Town, a rooftop restaurant, the tables out on the balcony are a perfect seat from which to people watch or just soak in the picturesque Jewish Quarter. The menu is reasonably priced and staff, extremely courteous and polite. However, if you’re planning on visiting, keep enough cash as they don’t accept cards. If you’re looking for a place to spend a handful of lazy, quiet moments after a walk around the shops, this is the place to be!

Located close to the Jewish Synagogue, Cafe Crafters is a homely place with both traditional and continental items on the menu. The food is good and price reasonable. Was a bit uncomfortable in the heat because it’s a non-AC restaurant. Nonetheless, eating here was a good experience. Srinka Ghosh

Small cafe in the centre of the jew street. I opted for the balcony seat, it was a nice feel altogether. The painted railings and the old kerala style architecture of the building and the stairs was very impressive. Talking about the food i just tried the veg cutlet and paneer fingers plus hot chocolate. It was good but very few options for veg.

It’s a very small cafe situated on top of a crafts shop, hence the name. It’s got limited seating. It’s got a balcony as well. Food menu is very small but good. Ordered their Jew town club sandwich. Nothing amazing but didn’t disappoint. Will visit again.

Again a late review visited there last February and it a small place in the narrow Jew Street but got a really nice and cool interiors and really good ambiance. We arrived around 3:00 for lunch as it was late but still staff was happy and really to serve we order prawns tempura for starters and it was nice fresh prawns and was good in taste , next we ordered the fish and prawns moilee one with appam and other with rice and surprisingly it was the best thing I had the prawns and fish again fresh and they showed us the prawns and fish to select before cooking so we can select what we need that was the best part. Ended with nice coffee and it was really a lovely meal. all in one a good visit and lovely food on offering.

The food was very good. The sea food was fresh and the fish fingers were succulent and crisp. Everything was prepared fresh and was piping hot. The ambience was excellent too. However, I would highly suggest not to go and waste your time, energy and money on this pathetic place. First of all, they had hair in the the bed of rice along with my sea food platter. The staff was i courteous and absolutely UNAPOLOGETIC. Finding us to be tourists who definitely didn’t know the language, the restaurant waiters did not apologise nor did they replace the dish and nor did they give any concession. On being confronted for being so blatantly rude they started saying or rather threatening that we’ll see what you can do and why should we replace the dish and that you should talk to the owner who doesn’t stay around most of the times. Their tone was almost like they were treating my husband and I like dogs.Is the management going to do anything about it? Or they’ll merely invite us again with an apology. Are they also going to fund our tickets to kochi along with the invitation? Are they going to return my money? Or do I fight my case in consumer court? We didn’t protest much since we had a flight to catch and had a bus waiting.

Just ask them to prepare a cold coffee without ice cream & make it a bit strong – I bet that will be the best coffee you would’ve ever had. Apart from this, Sandwiches are good too. Overall, really liked the place, totally worth it.
