I stayed at the Trident hotel, located on the Wellington Island, Kochi. The interiors of the hotel are aesthetical, combining local artefacts and contemporary comfort. I tried from their breakfast buffet and dining menu. Both of which had impressive dishes.I witnessed the best staff service so far, over here. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The quantity and the quality of the food were perfect, consisting fresh ingredients. The presentation of the food was beautiful. as well.Highly recommended!
Fantastic service! We have stayed at the Trident Hotel for four nights and enjoyed both breakfasts, lunch by the pool and dinners in the Travancore. Fantastic friendly new chef, extraordinary warm service from all waiters. Well worth both the stay and the delicius food!
Pros: Amazing taste! The breakfast menu has a good spread. The live counters for breakfast were well set up.Cons: Service is a bit slow, especially during lunch hour.
We had a breakfast at the restaurant recently. The experience was great. The ambiance, service, food quality everything is perfect. Special thanks to staff for taking special care.
Had been here on the way back from munnar. We searched for a place where we could have a blend of both veg and non veg food. Its a fine dine but the ambience + food was good enough. We reached here around 2.10,the hotel closes at 2.30.Avaial and prawns curry was good Stew was too sweetThe elanir payasam was not goodService is a tad slow
Except for the soup and salad, everything else went downhill in our visit last night.I have had eleneer payasam from a little malayalee shop in Bangalore which was divine, this one tasted like badam milk. We were not served bread even after asking for it twice along with our soup. Our water glasses were not filled. Upon asking if we were celebrating something, and I told them it’s my parents wedding anniversary, they said we will help you make it a thing to remember. The adjoining table was given a cake to celebrate. Not sure if they are more interested in serving people staying with them and dine ins are ignored. We missed the hospitality shown by Malabar and Casino.
Last night was continental and Italian for kids but I could not resist Kerala Parotta and Appam with Nandan Kozi Chicken Curry. All this was at a very spacious, well lit and nicely designed restaurant called Travancore and, yes, serviced by smiling and happy faces. All of the food tasted great though I found Chicken curry to be a bit too spicy but rest all of masalas were in the right proportions. Top of all of this was wonderfully prepared Cheesecake and we had to order another serving of it! I would love to come back here for another meal!
