If you have just landed at the airport, being all hungry and scared off by the 200 bucks Sandwich or Noodles that the flights could serve, this place could be the ideal destination to get your tummy full, for not a lot of money.I landed at the airport, found this joint on Zomato, but the autowala had no clue about this restaurant. Thanks to Google Maps, he took me to this place, that is 5 kilometres away from the airport.. This restaurant is a part of the infamous Sara Hotels in Angamaly. And the autowalas identify this better by the name Saras.You don’t see a lot of restaurants in Angamaly , despite being closer to the airport. They could do a lot more business and attract the airport crowd for a quick eat, if they invest better in their ambience. It looked more like a canteen, than a restaurant.How the food tasted?Chapatis – Thankfully, unlike the other vintage Kerala restaurants, the dough was soft enough to call it as Chapati.Bindi Masala – Too spicy. Could never relish tossing the Bindis into my tongue. Had to be more concerned about the spice. Nevertheless, I’m sure the Bindis without the sabji, would have tasted quite well, for they were boiled neatly. Wondering what took them 30 minutes to cook this.Lime Juice – Was surprised to see the juice coming in a cute glass, considering the restaurant’s orthodox attitude..AC was a namesake thing. I was the only customer at 2 30 pm. Paytm was not working, they refuse CreditCard payments due to GST implications.If you are hungry after landing at the airport and don’t want to dine at a slow, fancy restaurant, this could be your pick. Since I was heading to take a train, I found this restaurant ideal as this joint is equidistant to airport and Angamaly railway station.

It was a great opportunity to taste Malabar cuisine @ Sara Hotels and Apartments.This outlet is located at this Three star hotel.Rates where reasonable with Outstanding quality and quantity.I Love Orange.
