Decent ambience and usually crowded. The food is great and you’ll not be disappointed with the service either. Could work more on the interiors and expand the place a little.
A normal vegetarian hotel in simple way of describing about this restaurant. Abhirami hotel in kakkanad is far better when comparing factors like hotel space, price and food taste . Overall its feel okey when I tried onion roast from there.
Used to be a regular haunt but the food quality & taste have declined considerably these days. I used to love their coffee, chana bhatura, chapathi set, poori masala, chilly porotta and the variety of dosas. I was (and still am) beyond heartbroken by the fact that they stopped serving Rasam Saadam – it was my go-to dish whenever I felt an onslaught of cold/fever. It was their star attraction even. Anyway, this is now just another namesake South Indian eatery which you can visit if you have absolutely no other option. Their afternoon meals are NOT recommended. Their sambar is sweet. SWEET. The only dish I still find ok-ok is their idli. The service here is quite good though.
The place has good food for reasonable rates.. Their masala dosa is goodTheir menu is the usual south indian dishes with good quality and great taste. .
If you are looking out for some good vegetarian food, this is a place you have to go. Dont be fooled by the looks of this place, the food they offer will steal your heart and your taste buds. This place usually gets crowded by evenings. If you happen to be here for breakfast, you should definitely try out their hot vadas, idlis and their upma. And evenings, ghee masala dosa is worth trying along with their filter coffee. Also another great part is that their food goes easy on your pockets. At the end of the day, you will walk out of this place pretty happy.
Just another south Indian veg restaurant earth an ac section. This isn’t a foodie paradise, but serves the purpose if you want an economical quick breakfast or lunch.
Place well known for Kerala food, and not South Indian as per me, which is a misconceptin every Keralite creates in you when you are there..What you get here at all times, is, Parotta, Puttu, Dosa, Iddiyappam, and the list goes on with these dishes..The menu is a long one, of which half items are not there anytime of the day..The place is good for a quick fast breakfast, when you are rushing for work.. And also for dinner.. But do note, sometimes when they do have North Indian dishes, or even Chinese, not the best place to try out these here.. Its a VFM for all keralites actually, and outsiders, this place is for survivial and nothing more..The food is not that great, but edible..Place is definitely not kept well, most of the times you would be sitting at the table, and last customers dishes would be lying, even when you rorder is also served on the same table..Conversations with the servers is one big task, they dont understand any language other than Malayalam or Tamil..There’s nothing called interiors and ambinece here.. Just simple buisness..Ample parking space..Overall, place good to go for survival..
