Rasaleela is one of the oldest traditional cuisine restaurant in Cochin and has always been one of my favourites. They had a very unique ambience which symbolised old classic homes in Kerala but now they renovated it due to certain issues. Now coming to the food part I will be sharing my experience from my recent visit yesterday night. We had grilled Tiger prawns with shell and Squid coconut fry for starters. Both were good dishes. For main course we had Appam along with Duck roast which were good items as well. We also ordered Avoli polichatu which was a really good dish.Overall it was a nice experience and I recommend this place to all.

We went there for the buffet last night. I am not sure if 9:15 pm was too late for them but the food was cold. The fried items lacked any crunch. Most of it seemed like a day old. The naan and appam were unedible. The naan per my uncle’s words- rubber. The desserts were decent and the saving grace of the meal. However, today most of the family has a bad upset tummy. This is beyond acceptable!!! Reallly dissapointed by this star hotel’s offering.

The ambience and the decor they maintain is the major attraction. The food was good except for veg au gratin, which didn’t have the supposed consistency and taste. Plus it was served with cold and not- so – fresh garlic bread. The tandoori chicken wings, pudhina paratha and gobi kaju capsicum were outstanding. Calm and cozy place to hang out with family.

Went to this place couple of time for team lunch and with friends. The look and feel of this hotel is amazing, if you are early and waiting for your friends to come there is a waiting area which is comfortable and peaceful. We had a buffet and there were lot of verity of food to choose from, both veg and non veg. I liked the chicken verities and chilli pork which tasted really good but the fish fry was disaster, it was lacking all sort of taste no salt not spice, just they fried the fish that’s it. They also give 20% discount for Cognizant employees. Over all when it comes to taste it was not that great. But, as I went there with my friends I really enjoyed.Comfort and ambiance 4/5Food: 3/5

I have been there for the buffet. They have a great number of options but nothing extraordinary. Pork was served and was good. Bit crowded when I went in.
