I would suggest that do try prawns because it’s just amazing. The biryani Tastes average and the porotta is very soft and moist. Talking about the ambience it has a very homely feeling to it with good vibes and friendly staff. Also do try different village style sweets it gives a nostalgic feel as well.
The place is amazing! Ambience is 5/5 the staff is attentive and caring.Definite recommend.Chicken velichena fry was the star with a combination of ghee rice.There is a small place to kick football around just in case you need some exercise.
The porotta and chicken roast were good. Biriyani too. Their squid dish was nice. However their lamb dish was very misleading and an absolute waste of money. They gave lamb masala instead of lamb dry fry. Service is alright.
One of the best in kochi where you can have traditional rice and fish or biriyani. But you have to be dressed up well to get food. Waiters will judge your spending ability and serve accordingly. Unfortunately I did not meet their minimum requirements so I did not get any food today. So make sure you go there with your best attire, rent out an audi or merc armani suit and rolex so that you make an instant appeal when you arrive.
Went there for lunch . Ordered chicken biriyani ,chicken velichenna fry and prawns .. sorry to say but both were horrible .. chicken velichenna fry tasted like they gave us leftover chilli chicken .. and prawns tasted a bit old and salty .. would never go again .! Waste of money !
