One of the vintage eateries in Tvm that has survived the ages. Known best for their budget friendly, good food. The red chilli chutney served with pretty much anything is one of their highlights.Meals, tiffins, snacks, they all all served in a no nonsense fashion – if you are looking out for ambiance and table service, you’d be disappointed. Personal experience with Ambalapattu for me runs back for at least 25 years and I still frequent the place when I am in town – not for extraordinary food, but for good food that I can definitely come back for.Food – 4/5Ambience – 2/5Service – 2/5VFM – 4.5/5
Budget friendly hotel for quick food. Their beef fry and masal dosa are commendable. If you get a parking then its ok to dine here. Don’t expect an extreme hygienic high class ambience. If its ok for you to eat at a local eatery with reasonable price then its a good option around the Pattom area.
Ok ok place . An ordinary restaurant , budget friendly . I had dosa which was ok . Nothing outstanding . Tea was good . Had their chammanthi which was ok . Service was good and easy to locate place
Good place to grab a casual dosa or a porotta beef or porotta chicken curry combo.The chutney with the dosa and tea are all remarkably good.Do expect a mid 90s nostalgic ambience and nothing more.
This place serves amazing Ghee Roast with their signature chutney. It’s a great place to grab a quick meal when you’re rushing through Pattom. I haven’t had a chance to try their other items much because I always end up ordering Ghee Roast.
