Wow. Surprisingly this place has no reviews on Zomato? Let me begin with one. Cafe Ladakh is a breath of freshness. I think it’s relatively new. I was pleasantly surprised by the cafe as a whole. I’m really impressed. Starting with the ambience, yes, as the pics may describe, it’s a neat, small and cosy place with lots of nice furniture (I especially like the bookcase). There is a nice cool ac inside and you can leave the heat outside. The posters and the wallpaper are nice (maybe what you expect in Ladakh itself; I haven’t been). They also have these very nice water bottles. Coming to the food, mostly the menu has only burgers, sandwiches and snacks as eatables and some juice and beverages. Maybe in time the menu will be more exhaustive. But in the meantime, the food was good. We ate more than we really could cause it was tasty. The sandwiches were better in my opinion. The burgers could have been less sloppy; but tasty nonetheless. Tea was amazing too; a must try is the masala tea. Thirdly, I would like to say something about the people, the guys there were really sweet and helpful. They even twerked our order a little to our liking out of line from the menu. They adjusted the ac as per our comfort too. The owner sent a message saying thank you after I paid with Google pay; which I thought was nice and sweet too. One interesting fact is that we sat there for two hours, orderding and spending time; we were the only people there for the entire two hours (except for maybe some delivery guys). The reason for my long review is especially to get the word out there for a place such as this and they can get more business by more people coming. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the seclusion and having the whole place to ourselves. But it would nice for the people who run such places to be encouraged by more people walking in. Or maybe it was just the time we went (mid afternoon on a weekend). Prices were really lt decent. Must go and try. All the best.
