I am appalled to see such a low rating for this excellent dining place in the city. I agree the place doesn’t look quite chic but, the food is delectable and delicious. There are a lot of memories associated with my friends, I and this place. Rest assured, this review won’t be biased at all. Let’s get started — my journey to the world of non-vegetarian food begun at this place. I still remember the taste of Butter Chicken and Parotta (South Indian Bread) I had eight years ago. I am writing this review sitting at my apartment in Melbourne CBD, and for a second, I felt like I am back at my hometown. Ever since then, we visit this place at least every once in a week. I have tried many dishes here but, my favorite is Parotta, Butter Chicken, Prawns Pollichathu, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Biryani, and Chocolate Milkshake with Chocolate Ice Cream. Even the staff here knows what I will be ordering. There are A/C and Non-A/C seating, which I found very interesting even at this time where everyone prefers A/C seating. The food here tastes delicious, mouth-watering, and sumptuous in a way. The parotta is crispy towards the edges and is of a considerate serving portion. Two Parotta is enough to kill the usual hunger pangs. The Prawns Pollichathu is a must try, and the signature Butter Chicken. The staff here are amiable, the A/C dining area is well-maintained. There is parking in front of the restaurant, and also they have a parking spot ahead of the restaurant. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the food here; however, there are some things which this place need to change to keep up with the rest of the businesses. The rooftop dining area is a good concept but, you guys should open it for the regular crowd and not only just for large groups or special occasions. The A/C and Non-A/C concept should change. The interior design is good, but the lighting could have been better. The menu is perfect, and the pricing is at value for money range. Overall revamping along with a brilliant social media promotion could revive this place and attract more customers. Good luck, guys. Can’t wait to visit when I am back in India.
