Good restaurant with friendly atmosphere. One of the best in Kuravankonam area.We had mutton perattu ,beef fry along with butter naans. Taste was awesome. They have a party hall underground. One of my friend had his sons bday party there and his experience was also great.

Food was not good. It smells bad when opened. Taste and odour felt like old stuff. Not expecting such kind of experience from this Restaurant
If you want to relive your college times, then Kalavara is the only option you have in TVM right now. The food is reminiscent of the superb quality of the 90’s which is rare in this decade. Having beef fry or roast in college canteen was always missed till entering Kalavara; the same taste, quality and of course the “naadan” touch which you will never get from any star restaurant in TVM or elsewhere. Had tomato fry, paneer, beef roast and chicken chettinaadu. All competing with each other in taste and consistency. Excellent flavors and the right mix of spices. Myself with family had a great time and vowed to return very soon. My best wishes to Kalavara team!
Good family restaurant. Tasty food at affordable rates.I like their Chicken and Mutton Biriyani very much. Their Butter Chicken is the best in town.
