Ordered chicken whooper today from bk. Received a call from the delivery executive later saying that restaurant dont have the ordered item. Restaurant representative told me their broiler is broken and they will send me a crispy burger. When i declined that they asked me to cancel the order, which i didnt. After some 45mins they delivered me the whooper. So theur broiler was not broken i guess, they were simply not rwady to deliver it. The poor delivery guy who is a new recruit had to suffer due to the restaurant’s fault.
We checked in yesterday evening for having a quick meal. The place was almost packed as it’s onam season. The service was self but it was quick and we didn’t have to wait much time for getting our order.We ordered (1) Chicken Fries (5 pcs for 59) Chicken fries is a newly introduced item to their menu. The taste was scrumptious. We will get 5 pieces of sticks filled with chicken in it. It was served freshly. (Recommended)(2)Grilled chicken wings (2 pcs for 65) – Chicken wings as usual taste was good but the pieces were small.(3) Chicken Tandoori Grilled Burger combo – the combo contained (i) Grilled burger (ii) Cheese Fries (French fries with orange cheesy mayyonisse poured all over it)(iii) A glass of pepsi (iv) strawberry sundae.Burger was good and the patty inside in it was succulent and tasty. French fries was mediocre as we didn’t like the combination of orange cheese mayyonisse that much. Altogether the total bill came around 400 for 2 persons. It’s a good option for those who want to have a quick meal after shopping in Shobha city mall. As the shop is located next to Inox one can easily step in here after/before having a movie.Some onam offer is going on at the moment where you will get a meal for 419 rs for 2 persons.
Well done on offering a mutton patty when no beef option exists in the neighborhood joint. That said, this is fast food and so is as good as any other burger King worldwide. For me the chicken wing works nice!
