Very bad service. Not at all worth the hype. We didn’t even get chutney when we ordered dosa. They said its over. Everything takes atleast 30mins to be served.
The food quantity is too less. The Chicken Gravy ordered came with very less gravy and low quality pieces which looked pathetic. We feel cheated. The quantity of all the items we ordered are too less especially Chicken Chukka.
Very bad service and they literally robbed us.Most of the items mentioned in the menu were not available even at 8’o clock. So we ordered 3 set porotta but we were told that it may take 10 mins to prepare porotta. At the end it took 50 mins to get the items.1 Pappad sized porotta Costs Rs.30 and they were trying to make us order more items by mentioning the low quantity.
Hands down the best porotta in a million miles radius. The biryani and curries are from Erode, a culinary delight, that place I tell you. Pile yourselves into a vehicle and trundle off to this place. Will return and recommend.Suggestion, coffee is a sore thumb, for a tamilian joint anything less than filter is sacrilege. Fix it please!
This is our 3rd visit to the restaurant. And this time we were utterly disappointed. Deserves only 1 star for this visit.The previous 2 visits, our order was taken by a senior very pleasing staff, who understood what we wanted and suggested accordingly. This time the waiter seemed to be in a hurry (though the restaurant was not crowded) and even told me that the dish I ordered last time does not even exist.Now the food:1) Biryani- Each time I fall in love with the taste. I feel the mutton biryani is better than chicken. There is sufficient quantity of meat in the dish. Its served along with raita, mutton gravy and boiled egg curry. This time they even served pickle (catering to the malayali crowd).2) Veg meals- We love the curries (the thiyal, avial & kalan) served in the meals. The have the authentic Tamilnad touch. However, this time the rice was not boiled properly. :(3) Chicken 65- It took me back to my coimbatore days. Original TN recipe.4) Mutton pepper fry- Awesome taste. But very less quantity for the price.When you are paying a premium price for something, you atleast expect a good service. Hope the owners take care of it soon.
