Had the unfortunate experience of eating Onam sadya here. Was traveling to my home town and stopped here for lunch. Being Thiruvonam, not many restaurants were open and since this had the Udupi tag to it, thought to give it a try. Only Onam sadya was on the menu for lunch since it was Onam.. the waiters had no clue what to serve first.. the waiter got moru curry to start the sadya!!! Everything tasted below average and end of the lunch, funny thing was that the waiter demanded tips..

One of the best economic South Indian restaurant in tripunithura.. they do serve North Indian dishes as well.. but their specialities are South Indian food.. masala dosa being one of the best in Kochi .. other must try food includes their puttu kadala, pazhampori, vada, veg cutlet, curd vada and porotta kuruma..i never miss a visit whenever am home.. 😉

I decided to try this place out as there was a huge rush in both Brindavan and Anugraha. The ambience is fine, everything feels really open with huge glass windows. We ordered Masala Dosa, Paper Roast, Ghee Roast, Upma, Puri Masala and Tea. I was quite disappointed to see that none of the the food items had sufficient salt which was a big let down. Furthermore the tea was good. The service was really bad in the sweets area. I ordered Dry Jamun, Peda and Mixed fruit Barfi. Instead of billing 2 Mixed fruit Barfi, the person at the billing area billed for 2 kgs. Overall a bad experience. I don’t recommend this.

My personal favourite veg restaurant in Pettah. Go for the channa battura and the veg cutlet . It’s the best in town. Ample car parking available.

We had a stay in Kochi for a conference at broad bean hotel,,udupi vegetarian hotel ,located just opposite to it in vytilla!!We had breakfast for a couple of days!! The ambience looks bright with the kathakalli art in the wall!!Loved the way they served the water , authentic way of serving water in kerala ,,boiled in pathimugham spice (sappan wood ) which has health benefits! The service ppl can be still humble,,when asked why puttu and idiyapam is not served though it’s given in menu? The server man was bit rude ,,I will call the owner you talk to them! This is the way a server wil talk to a customer? We tried ghee roast, vadai, mysore masala dosai ,rava dosai and vegetable uthapam!Everything tasted good ,,the must try is the mysore masala dosai and vegetable dosai!! Both were yumm ,the mysore masala dosai topped with a layer of spicy chutney was delicious!! And so the veg uthapam was another hit!Overall it’s a best place to dig in for vegetarian food,,! Since I m not satisfied with the service rating wil go from 4 to 3!!

Fantastic Vegetarian Hotel!! I visited this place a few times and it never fails to deliver great food every time I visited. My recommendation is their paper dosa. They’re also good at North Indian dishes.
