Not the best place for food, but definitely the best place for the view. Do not come here to fill your belly, rather walk in for the experience of relaxing and eating food by the side of the back waters in Cochin.
Gr8 view overlooking the Old Mattancherry Bridge. Has got a outdoor deck with seating area. Live Music in the evening on weekends. Slow Service. Food was alright though. Car Parking is available.
We saw the place as we were driving through the Old Thoppumpady Bridge and from the bridge it looked great. Right on the bank next to the bridge, the decor with a wood finish and the lampshades gave the look of an old English pier we had seen the movies. And this is where the good ends. They had no menu and we’re getting all their food and drink from the food court of a near by mall. As expected, insects and mosquito’s. Most of the staff seamed lost only the manager seemed to be holding things together.Maybe things will improve once they open their own kitchen and do some pest control. But until then avoidable.
