  It’s worth it! I had heard so much about this place from so many of my friends, they sort of hyped it so much that I had to try this place out. There are about 3-4 tables to sit and you would be lucky if you could get a seat to sit. So, I went on a Tuesday afternoon around 1 and I was able to get a seat, though the reviews on google told otherwise, probably we just got lucky. The staff and owner of the place are really nice people, strike a conversation with Jeff and you will feel happy. On weekdays there are just 2-3 items in the menu. It would be better if you could catch a cab or an auto, because parking is a big problem as it is on the side of the road. The prices are not too high, but you get what you are paying for.So, we ordered Bohra Chicken Biryani and Afghani chicken, they were out of mutton biryani. Now, I had read a lot of reviews that said that the biryani tastes similar to Hyderabadi biryani, but no sire! This had a very peculiar taste and it was totally different from what I have had till now. This was so full of spices and flavours and you actually enjoy every-time you chew the food. But the best dish was the Afghani chicken, Oh My God, this is a mildly spicy chicken. The chicken is so tender and perfectly cooked, this is what I did, closed my eyes and chewed slowly (try this if you want to), I could get the flavour of every single ingredient in it.On the whole I enjoyed my time here and everything that we tried here. So, apparently they have specials on Sundays, hariyali kabab and all. I am definitely going to come here again to try out the specials. I would like to give the -Food – 4.5/5Service – 5/5Ambience – 3/5

  After seeing many positive feedbacks on eat kochi eat and many foodie’s Instagram handles finally I got a chance to visit Jeff Biryani yesterday and my wait was totally worth.Jeff biriyani’s outlet is located in thoppumpady on ground floor of a small building and there is not much space inside for dine in and they have only 3 tables which can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests at a time. People normally go for taking parcels rather than having it from there and the same thing happened yesterday. I was able to see many folks coming out from their cars and collecting parcels from here.Jeff Biryani is famous for their bohri style mutton and chicken biryani which are available on weekdays and on weekends they provide some special items like (1) Afghan Chicken (2) Hariyali chicken biryani (3) Schezwan Chicken Biryani (4) Mutton Apricot Biriyani too along with the normal biryanees.The outlet mainly functions between 12.00 and 3.00 and they provide only biryanees (Mutton / Chicken) on weekdays.Customer ServiceThey have deployed two ladies to attend the customers and for delivering their orders when they go for dine in. Normally people in their 20-30’s come for dine in. It’s unlike our Malabar biryani where the rice of long grain type is used. The rice is perfectly blended with minced succulent mutton pieces and its masala thus contributes to its taste.The accompaniments provided were raita and pickleI recommend this place to all the gourmands out in Kochi to check it at least once Their biriyanees are really good and it’s unique.
