Drupe hive is a place known for fresh fruit juices, shakes and ice-creams. Fruit punch is really good and a must try. As name suggests It’s a Blend of various fruits making it so much healthier and tastier.
I ordered a waffel on a tuesday night. There was only one person manning the outlet. He was not aware as to what sauces he is using for tge waffel. Before ordering we specifiacally asked whether he is using a Hersheys on the waffels. He confirmed the same. When the waffel was delivered, upon the first bite something seemed off.We asked him again whether he used a Hersheys on it. He again confirmed. On asking him to show us the bottle of the chocolate sauce being used, he showed us the bottle. But guess what. IT WAS NOT HERSHEYS PRODUCT. I mean he was so underinformed about the products being used for the waffles.Anyway, we just left the waffel there as it was. Of course he did not had the authority to wave off the bill. So we paid in half and left.Basically there should had been more than one person to man it.One year ago we used to visit the place occasionally. And have had good experiences of Drupe Hive.
Drupe Hive is a very cute and attractive outlet. The menu on the chalk board, colorful racks with fruits and a lively feel is a treat for the senses. It’s menu boasts of ice creams, shakes, sandwiches, fries etc.I tried the roll-ice creams a couple of times: several flavors. I was not much impressed. I kept longing for more flavor and punch in the ice cream. The mango-kiwi dessert rolls were somewhere there but nothing outstanding. The chocolate counterparts lacked punch. The entire exercise of making the ice cream rolls (and not being able to infuse much flavor in it) seemed futileI enjoyed the ambience and the experience, the desserts, not so much.
A very decemt and elegant ambience, great inoovation with shakes along with fries and ice creams. Slight high on price but every single thing worth it. Try oreo and kitkat shakes.
