During my recent visit to the city of lakes (Bhopal) my friends took me to this place. We came here only for breakfast but the natural habitat of this place made us stay till afternoon. Breakfast had a very limited offering. The cold coffee was way too sweet, muffins were no good either. The South Indian stuff was decent enough. For lunch I was told that the recipes they follow are made by the royal family. So we ordered for quail Korma, meat platter and bhopali rizalla. Loved the quail and the platter but the rizalla was not that good it was just not upto the mark. Coriander being my favourate, I was quite excited about it , but it was just not upto the mark.Anyways it was a good experience. Best part was the music was not too loud and one could easily interact with others.

Ambience- We visited this place on a Saturday night. Inspite it being weekend it was not crowded. however, the ambience was very romantic. I wish they provided a candle lit corner. It would certainly be a lover’s paradise. They have two restaurants, one with the outside seating and another with indoor seating (technically it’s one because they both have same menu). Menu- The menu is limited because they offer dishes with home grown ingredients. But I must say that it was haphazard. The waiters were of great help in deciding the order since the menu was not . Food- We ordered a cottage cheese sizzler, phaldari kofta, missi roti and Ulte tawe ka paratha. Sizzler was not interesting.. I should have had some more cheese or any kind of sauce because otherwise it’s difficult to eat the rice served with it. Phaldari kofta was fine. It had balls made of homegrown bananas and spinach gravy with lots of garlic. All and all, the ambience stole my heart. But food was not jehan Numa standards.

Coriander Leaf at Jahan Numa Palace is undoubtedly a place with best ambience in the City of Lakes, Bhopal. Here one can sit, relax and enjoy the beauty of its surroundings which is the USP of this place. I visited here a month back with my family and all of us including the bachcha party was dying to have loads after a tiring visit at the Manav Sangrahalaya. We all were looking forward to have some good non-veg food so we ordered the non-veg platter which served us chicken, mutton and fish appetizers of decent taste and good quantity. In the main course we opted for Chicken Curry and breads but sadly that was not as per our expectations, the curry was very diluted and tasted quite average. But the star of the day was the Pasta; it was an Arrabiata, the sauce was amazingly tasty with tangy flavor and perfect aroma. So overall it was a delightful experience and I am very glad to have such beautiful eateries shaping up in my own Bhopal. 🙂 My Ratings:Food- 3.5/ 5 Ambiance – 4/5Presentation – 4/5Quantity – 4/5Pocket Friendly – 3/5

Very fantastic food and service. All the staff are excellent and specially tej. We ordered palak Patta chaat , ceaser salad , dhingri mushroom , nimbu dhaniya chicken and warki naan. Ufffff everything was mouth watering. We over ate. So also have the butter milk served as the welcome drink. U will love it. Full marks to the resort.

We went there a few days ago. Trust me you don’t want to spend so much money and end up getting food that is not upto the mark. For two starters, two main course and 2 desserts for total party of three, bill came around 4200 plus. The chicken in starters was so dry and the sauce that came with it was so bland. The watermelon feta salad hardly had feta in it. Why would you spend 600 plus for a salad if you can’t even have what is in the menu. The main course mutton pulao was as if your eating plain rice. There was no aroma or authenticity. The thai red curry was not upto the mark either. All in all it was a disappointment considering its too expensive. The only thing that made me give this a 2 rating is the Chocolate Ganache which was just too good. Loved every bite of it. It is definitely a must try !! But all in all the restaurant food is just too mediocre for its price.
