The Usal Poha was too spicy for me. It was just an overdose of red chilli and brought tears to my eyes. I couldn’t eat 3/4th of my serving and had to call for dahi and chaas. Prashant refreshment nearby serves much better and excellent Usal Poha.
The best spicy Usal in town. The Usal Poha and Usal Kachori with grated onions is like totally unique to only this place . You can never find this taste anywhere . The place is rustic and almost the same since I’ve been seeing it since 30 years. First timers beware of the Usal and it’s red oil . Try a little before indulging in the whole dish. Definitely worth a visit. It’s right in the centre on Jailroad from both ends. Just next to Mittal electronics.Ps- they also make homemade type ‘gond’ ke laddus which are great too .
