Ordered Kadai paneer and dry manchurian but received gravy one so disappointed coz I personally dont like gravy manchurian. Taste of kadai paneer was ok ok but it’s tooo oily. Removed a lot a part from gravy to reduce oiliness.
My go to restaurant whenever I’m in rau or mhow. They serve all kind of food. It’s a nice place to have tea with friends. I totally reccomend you to visit it.
Vikas Sweets is a very popular place for local Rau people and college students nearby who want to eat good food at reasonable prices. The food is okay, but a tad bit too oily. The ambience of the place is of a very generic restaurant and the service is pretty average. The assortment of Indian desserts they have is quite good and their rabdi is my personal favourite. They also have pretty good options for breakfast items in their menu which would be present in any Indori breakfast!
I order manchurian but its waste of money because manchurian boll is not cooked properly and its taste is very bad you gyes spoile my evening.
I mostly visit this place for a quick breakfast and post dinner desserts. And trust me, this has been one of the best quick food joints in the city. While the varieties in food is worth mention, the breakfast, tea are fabulous and worth the money. Talking about breakfast, my all time favorite has been the Khaman. The soft and spongy, gujarati dish tastes fabulous when served with their delicious chutney. And talking about their desserts their Indian Mithayi such as Gajar Halwa, Moong Halwa, Kalakand, Rabri, Jalebi, Malpua and Ghewar are worth the run. While the Indian sweets are the star attraction of Vikas, the bakery too is not a step behind, their pastries and puddings too fare exceptionally well upto the expectations. All in all, I would recommend everyone looking forward to eat quality food to visit Vikas, and trust me, you would not be disappointed.
