Yup. You are bang on Mehwash Patel. Won’t recommend this place unless you’re seriously low on money. I wish I had read Zomato reviews before stepping into this place. But actually, the food is not that bad – it’s the patrons and the overall care – a – damn culture. I was here at 1900 hours after a successful ministerial visit as the occasion called for a royal celebration. I called for a Wada Usal Pao, which came for a princely sum of Rs 50 only. The wadas were piping hot, the usal was fairly loaded with the white watanas and the curry was nicely garlicky. To be had with two fluffy paos. And accompanied with a bottle of Sprite (They only stock Sprite or Maaza – so good luck.) Had a stomachful before embarking on an exhausting journey to Andheri. But I guess never again. sanjaynpunjabi.blogspot.com

This places it mostly crowded with office employees and college students. It’s our go to place after our college JBIMS while we are looking for good food at reasonably cheaper cost. This is also called as AMDAR niwas canteen. Service it prompt.Food is average

Nothing much to write about, the food is ok types, prices are ok. Nothing great about this place or its food. U need to pay first, 2 of 5 when it come to cleanliness.

Quick service, tasty food, moderately priced. Ordered bhindi fry, butter chicken and chapati. Total value for money. Could focus a bit on the hygiene part.

MLA Canteen is next to Mantralaya.Had visited this place years ago, at the behest of my colleagues while working at Churchgate. Its a regular canteen with all sorts of classes having lunch here.Since my colleague recommended a Chicken Biryani, decided to try it out. One word of caution, basically frequented by men only, so good to be accompanied by one.Sharing tables is common, the Biryani was pretty delicious but was aghast when I witnessed the men placing the bones etc. on the table. A place where you would have to eat closing your ears and focussing only on your plate, since the clientele here is generally bereft of any meal time etiquette altogether.Food was tasty, Pricing very reasonable.

The Wada Ussal and cutting chai are all time favourite. Especially on evening after the lectures , when the college canteen is closed. The also have a good option for Chinese
