Burma BurmaOne of the iconic Burmese speciality restaurants located in Fort. They’ve been holding a fan following of Burmese cuisine lovers since the last 5 and a half years.I visited here for the first time and absolutely loved the vibe and the food. The interiors are aesthetic and let me tell you guys, weekday or weekend, Burma Burma is generally full !Talking about service, the staff is absolutely humble and will guide you to try the highest selling, their famous, recommended dishes to make your experience even better. What I Tried?ELDRAGON MOCKTAILA subtle drink, kinda tasteless but that is something I wanted to have to cleanse my palate. Its a blend of Coconut water and dragonfruit.SAMOSA SOUPThis was a tangy soup with mixed vegetables and a pressed samosa. Something unique.SALAD SAMPLERThis had 3 varieties of salads – raw mango, Papdi and nutty. All were good.TOHU MASH WITH PARATHATried tohu for the first time and the parathas were so flaky and goid that I could simple eat them without any gravy / dip.TEMPURA & ASPARAGUS BUNSThis could be slightly better. The sauce used and maybe more prominent taste of broccoli. The bao was a little dry.PANFRIED RICE DUMPLINGSThis was again very unique more like a Burmese sev puri. Just kidding !KHOW SUEYThis is definitely the most recommended and their signature dish. Rich coconut gravy and toppings that you can add. I chose wheat noodles to keep it healthy.BURMA BOMBEThis was a fabulous dessert ! All chocolatey and also salty with some seasalt caramel and almonds. The presentation too was amazing !RANGOON BAKED MILKAgain something different, baked milk cake topped with dry iced rose petals. Recommended.Do try this place

I have been here a couple of times. The samosa soup is really tasty. I was a bit reluctant to try it first but when I tasted it I was glad I tried it.The falafels are a miss, they are dry and really chewy. The pan fried dumplings are nice. The pan fried noodles are delish. The desert was chocolate mouse and other chocolate elements. It was good too.Food-4/5Ambience-4/5Service 4/5Value for money-4/5PS. You need to reserve for the weekend because the place is small and there is a huge line for waiting. Also this is an only vegetarian restaurant.

I’m yet to hear someone tell me that the food was average here.Undoubtedly one of my most favorite restaurants, which has pure vegetarian food as well as the perfect taste! To start with the samosa soup is something out of the world, and is a must must try.The corn fritters were good but not one of the best in the menu. For the main course there’s nothing that can beat the khau suey with it’s amazing aroma and taste, it is a signature! The chocolate bomb is simply the best thing to end this fabulous food with.I rate it 10/10.

When it comes to Burmese food in Bombay, Burma Burma is a must visit – not just once, but multiple times. What I love here – Fried Rice with Tea Leaf, Dimsums/ Buns, Eggplant Long Beans & Tofu Curry and Spicy Vegetable Curry. The ambience is soothing and splendid for a quiet dinner. Can’t wait to go back already.
