One of the legendary places to visit in Colaba area. It’s a small restaurant serving authentic Continental and Parzi food, run by a Wonderful Parzi family. The food is really good. The ambiance gives you a feeling of a cozy cafe with a Parzi touch to it. They have a wonderful large menu. There deserts are mind blowing. I have visited this place many times. However sitting space is less so there might be waiting especially during weekends. They serve from pasta to buyers to noodles to lasagna to what not. It’s a place definitely to visit when in Colaba area
We had a seafood soup here and a grilled chicken main course. The soup was delicious as usual, with a medium thick broth and the right amount of spice. The grilled chicken was just okay, the sauce needed a little more punch. The service was excellent and the food was served very fast. We decided not to try the desserts because all the liquor based desserts did not have any liquor and had liquor flavour instead. They had some offers and we got garlic bread served complimentary with the soup and a soft drink with the main course. The portions were very good. The prices are on the higher side
One of the oldest cafes located in the town, cafe Churchill serves one of the best steak in the town, it was me n my friend visited here. It’s a very small place you often have to share table with others,as hardly there are 5-6 tables. The interior is very old stereotype and ambience is also very quite as you don’t find many people talking here. The staff is really polite and humble as their are no staff members here they all are family members who work here as a waiter or waitress.Had ordered the beef steak and I really liked it,it was perfectly cooked not too chewy not to hard, perfect as someone would like. They still don’t accept any mobile wallets or cards as cash is the only way to pay,I found the steak a bit expensive by looking at its size it could have been a bit cheap,so if you visiting here make sure you have healthy cash with you.overall 4/5
Cafe Churchill is a well know eatery in Colaba located in Colaba causeway but it’s quite easy to miss this place as it’s really tiny. The decor and ambience is not something that you should look forward while dining here, but their crazy variety of food definitely is. I had the famous Chicken cordon bleu which is their star dish and rightfully so. The dish had chicken breast slices stuffed with cheese filling served along with really good gravy, the gravy was so good that we had it to the last bit. Mashed potatoes and veggies also complimented well with the dish, the chicken was a bit hard but overall with the cheese stuffing and gravy tasted heavenly. You gotta try this dish if you come here. Had even ordered garlic bread which was okay, not that great. Overall the place maintains its raw structure and old vibes by not making the eatery too fancy, the servers are really polite and courteous.Come here just to enjoy their delicacies and you will love it.
