Iconic place that’s more than a century old. Old style basic decor. Parsi food and Raspberry soda are well known. Menu is well priced and portions are large. Good food and happy customers makes it a lively place. Service is polite and professional. They do not accept credit card. Hygiene demands a little more effort..
One of my favourite Parsi joints, their signature dish is Chicken Cutlet Curry and its very tasty! It’s a minced patty, a bit crunchy from the outside dipped in curry.Their mutton samosa’s are amazing as well. It’s made with order so it takes 20 minutes to prepare. Even the chai is typical irani mily chai and tgs shawrmas are good as well. Definitely recommend this place !
Just opposite Excelsior Cinema. A small joint that could definitely be more hygienic. Maybe time for a renovation.Food is Super and service is fast and smiling. Rates are very reasonable. We tried the Kheema Fry with Pav and Caramel Custard. The Kheema fry was awesome, soft and juicy (five stars just for the kheema fry). Custard was very good.Do enquire before, since quite a few dishes are unavailable (fruit salad, toast).
I visited here very randomly and my experience was really nice. This cafe is easy to locate. It’s Irani cafe. The cafe is well maintained and clean. The quality and quantity of food is awesome. I had noodles, fried rice, tea and bun maska.Noodles and rice was tasty and full of quantity. Tea was good and it tasted amazing with bun maska.
Classic restaurants don’t need too many words to describe how amazing they are.Highly recommend the Chicken cutlet (dry), mutton keema pav, pudding and the caramel custard.Don’t miss the bun maskha and chai and the raspberry soda either.Pocket-friendly and delicious food is a win-win!
