We were there for team dinner.. Drove all the way from Powai. The ambience is nice, calm and good for such dinner. We ordered veg, non veg and seafood platter.. Seafood platter was tasteless n stale, smelly. I also called the captain but his answer was not convincing n unapologetic. However we enjoyed other stuff in starters n drinks.. Hence the rating is 4 for the remaining stuff and service of serving staff..

Khyber for us is all about nostalgia. This North Indian cuisine based restaurant has been dishing out delectable Mughlai cuisine over the last five decades and we remember going here as kids and eating the dry fruit filled Kabuli Naan, the delicious Kulfis and their butter based gravies! This regal restaurant has maintained not just its standards but also its taste till today! We stepped into this restaurant last night after years and all the memories flooded in. The staff was very welcoming and showed us to our seats. For starters we called for Reshmi Broccoli, Paneer Honey Mustard Tikka and their highly recommended Makai Tikkis. While the Broccolis, coated in some batter and fried, tasted delicious, we loved the mild marinated Paneer Tikkas with that char grilled coating on top. Even the Makai Tikkis were good and didn’t have any residue of oil despite being deep fried. Moving on were mains, which actually turned out to be the highlight of the entire 3 course meal we had. We called for Paneer Tikka Masala and Lasooni Palak (Staff recommendation). The Paneer dish was came in with really generous portion size and the soft pillowy paneer soaked in the rich red gravy tasted delicious! But the standout dish was the Lasooni Palak! That strong garlic punch running throughout the thick palak gravy was a total winner! Normally the breads that we order just the usual Naans and Tandooris but this time around, even the breads deserve a special mention. We tried the house special Five Grain Tandoori Roti and the Khasta Roti, and boy oh boy! The khasta roti was so flaky and loaded with flavours of ajwain and the Five Grain roti was light and went absolutely well with the rich thick gravies! The best accompaniment we could ask for.For drinks we called for Virgin Colada and Breeze both deliciously sweet and refreshing and went well with our food. Last but not the least, it was Gulab Jamun Tarte that we called for. Guilty as charged, it was the many zomato pictures that lured us into ordering this dish and we don’t regret it one bit. 5 Mini Gulab Jamun on a tart filled with Rabdi was straight out of heaven! Over all, our love for this restaurant has been reignited by this one visit and surely many more visits are going to be in the offing now!

This is a huge outlet located in Kalaghoda near the famous Flora fountain. The decor here gives you ancient vibes and it is a bit different from the other cafe’s and restaurants that I have visited in this locality. The walls here have huge paintings which goes with the theme of this place. This place serves variety of Indian dishes. The mocktails that we ordered here were refreshing and unique. The portion size of the starters were adequate. Also I noticed that they have many dishes with corn as a base comparatively to other Indian restaurants. The main course that we tried were not very spice. This place is good for dessert lovers. I would recommend you to try Milky Way in dessert. We tried-Virgin ColadaBlue DelightPaneer TikkaMakai TikkiPaneer Butta SeekhPaneer BhurjiMalai ParathaButter NaanMilky Way
