I recently visited the La Patissarie at Vivanta Hotel . I was amazed by the ice cream selection . It was by one of the best ice creams I have eaten . The texture was great . My daughter said that even in the uk she has not eaten an ice cream like Sucres Des Terres . It was amazing . Please go and try it. Do not hesitate . My daughter tried all the flavours and loved each one of them
Love cakes? This is the ultimate haven for all baked desert lovers.. Much better than Theobroma.. You have to eat here to believe it. We had the best red velvet cake of our lives here.. They even garnished it a fresh and beautiful violet flower.. Strawberry and chocolate crisp.. Want to make some one feel special? This is the place to choose your deserts from. Trust me.
I ordered a Dutch truffle and tbh it didn’t live up to my expectations. Considering this outlet is Taj’s own, I expected much more. The cake was good but I’ve had better at very minimalistic places. The bread portion in the cake is much more than chocolate. That’s a bummer! I hope to see an improvement in the taste.
Poor. Very poor. The taste was highly disappointing. Called for a raspberry cheesecake. Which didn’t taste like a cheesecake at all but instead a raspberry pastry. On informing the staff about our dissatisfaction about the taste we were told this is just how we make it and this is how it is. The cream tasted totally like whipped cream and not cheesy at all. Also the service lacks the warmth you’d expect at a brand like TAJ. The decor is the reason for the 1.5 stars. Nothing more than the well done up place. DISAPPOINTED!
The selection of items is very limited, taste is average and over priced. Doesn’t feel like Cafe/pastry shop at a 5-star. You can skip this and visit a nearby Starbucks or CCD and you wouldn’t have missed anything
A nice little cafe situated inside Taj Vivanta..Mostly a takeaway joint, there’s very less seating. Food here is great. The breads here are amazing and their taste has been consistent throughout the years.Service is good.
The Place : Sugar & Spice, Taj President, Cuffe ParadeAmbience : Nothing. Its actually just a take away joint. with a sorry little table outside. Pre dinner cravings and the good reviews led me to this place with the better half.Ordered 3 pastries and a cup of coffee. Well, the coffee took a long time coming. And finally, it came from a standard machine in every office. The pastries were decent. But there was something seriously wrong with the coffee. As is very evident with the pic. And this place closes so early, there was no one to point this out to. All in all, a very very disappointing experience. I mean, was i really having something at the Taj? No wonder the prices are lower than expected. This is a basic bakery take away.Verdict : Just a 2 out of 5. Thats just for the taste of the pastries. Nothing great. Much better options out there. Save your money and head to trattoria. its like they are two different worlds.
