Visited Maffy’s, the Pan- Arabian Bistro last night. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of a Hotel next to Radio Club. The menu is quite extensive and it has plenty of options for both vegetarian and non – vegetarians. They have 2 seating options one on the inside and the other on the outside overlooking the arabian sea. Being a pleasant winter night we really enjoyed sitting outside. The ambience gives you a feel of being in a Middle Eastern Souk.We ordered:Turkish Delight- this mocktail was an amazing combination of Rose & Pomegranate, however, the highlight of the drink was its presentation.Istanbul Sunset: A combination of orange juice, pineapple juice, cranberry and a hint of date syrup. It was very nice.Signature Sundried Tomato hummus – This was listed as one of their signature dishes so decided to try it and we enjoyed the rich and creamy texture of the hummus. It was served with mini Pita breads, the pita bread was a huge let down. It seemed more like a dinner roll and even that was not soft. Maffy’s Crispy Turkish Nachos – Nachos topped with corn, roasted bell peppers, onions, olives, beans with spiced labneh, tzatziki, red and green salsa was very nice.Pide, Paneer – The hand stretched Turkish Pizza paneer, bell peppers, onions and baharat spice topped with cheese. The dish was very nice and we recommend the same.Qubuli – An Afghan rice with chickpeas, onions, yoghurt and nuts was served with the moroccon sauce. It also had a grilled paneer. The rice was delicious and we absolutely loved the dish (Highly Recommended) Baklava Lollipops – Phyllo pastry filled with dry fruits studded with pistachios and almonds and served as lollipops. We quite liked it.The service was awesome and we would like to thank Mr Jamie for the same and making sure we had a good time. The prices are also quite reasonable. Will surely visit again to try the other vegetarian options.

Maffy’s a classic place situated just next to Radio club- Colaba. Special thanks to Pawan who recommended us the best dishes here. They have played well with the mix of Arabic and Turkish cuisine with their inhouse spices. Also they tried to give a touch of Indo-western type as they have converted major best dishes into the Vegetarian side. The staff is super hard-working and polite. We had-Morrocan charmoula paneer kebabChicken shish Taouk -Highly reccBaharat spiced drumsticks- Highly reccMains-Persian chicken gravy with naan 5/5Dessert-Saffron and almond chocolate crepe shawarma.Moctails – Mediterraninan cream-side float is the best.

Maffy’s Arabian Bistro is certainly one hotspot for the exquisite ambience this place offers. What really excites me about this place is their amazingly curated menu comprising of a wide range of spectacular dishes. For appetisers you must not miss out on the Turkish Style ShishTouk Kebabs, so juicy and so flavourful. Meat lovers must certainly try the very delicious SmokeySpicyCharcoalLambTikki. This exquisite appetiser is made to perfection and tastes irresistibly yum. For mains, we tried the Zaatra spiced Grilled Chicken and relished every bit of it. Ended our meal on the sweetest note with the very delectable AlmondChocolateCrepe. It’s luscious taste is still lingering in my mouth.Had one of the finest dining experience here. Be it the heartwarming ambience, lipsmacking food or the hospitable service. Everything about this place is upto the mark. Can’t to be back here and binge onto some more mouthwatering dishes from their extensive menu.

After seeing a lot of positive reviews we cane to this place. Although the ambiance is beautiful and the set up lovely it really comes down to the food. It was a Sunday so we had the brunch. They don’t serve a la carte on Sundays. The service was horrifically slow. And after waiting for odd 20 minutes between each dish the portions we got were like two pieces in each plate. That was the portion size. We were really disappointed. Because of the slow service our appetite was actually killed. We entered the restaurant at around 1.40 and ended up waiting there till 4.30, not because the food was Lovely but because we kept on waiting for our food to arrive. The food is okay. The hummus and zartar were yum. The pita bread was as old as ice. It looked as if it just popped it out from the freezer and onto the serving table. In all no value for money
