Rating from 1 to 10Promoter 7 – 10 PositivePassive 5 – 6 NeutralDetractor 1 – 4 NegativeStaff is okay. Place is very nice and very quite on a Saturday it was very peaceful. Mocktails are the best to try. More than the ground level sitting area and interiors are better on the level above. One thing I didn’t like is people won’t walk up to the restaurant in monsoon season because this place is in a small lane where parking is a big issue. Yes but do visit for the fine dining food. Yes one star has been taken off because of the less portion they are serving which is not a good thing. What all was called for is mentioned below.1. Nasi Goreng Arancini 8/102. Avocado & Horse Gram Hummus 9/103. Grilled Wasabi Cortege cheese 10/104. Blackened Roesti Potato 6/105. Charred Borrata Makhan Wala 9/106. Mandarin & Cinnamon 9/107. Saffron 10/108. Open Food 7/109. Cottage cheese steak 5/10

The Colonial palate, casual dining restaurant located in the by lanes of fort, kala ghoda is well lit heritage colonial themed restaurant serving fantastic Mediterranean food giving you fresh vibes via it’s unique menu and trending song selection which most of us will love. Their stewards were well dressed with bow, humble and enthusiastic about their authentic items which shouldn’t be missed.Started with Tibetan thukpa soup having mushroom Momo’s in clear soya based soup with fresh cilantro and fine chopped veggies. Rosemary Raspberry mojito served in a dry ice semi circular bowl giving it tempting look had taste of rosemary and raspberry.Watermelon basil mint mojito, fresh drink with watermelon pieces, must try thirst quencher. In appetizers, tried avocado and horse gram hummus having multi grain pita breads served with unique brown horse gram hummus prepared in truffle oil having pungent garlic taste and lots of olives. Galouti of mahabaleshwar heirloom carrots was sweet kebab having carrots served on curd and rice flour based small paratha. In Mains, tried their signature shepherd pie, well baked authentic British dish having roasted potatoes smashed with cheese on top of semi dry well sauted veggies served with mouth licking makhni sauce. Spaghetti Aglio having Sichuan peppercorns, garlic pieces, well roasted broccoli, zucchini, mushroom and cheese was a filling dish having good quantity of veggies served with good quality of spaghetti. In dessert, tried afghan jalebi, thick crispy never ending afghani jalebi is coated with silver leaf varq; served with thick cream having pistachio, almond.
