Tratts as its popularly called is our go-to for every occasion. It’s a place which serves home food, outside the home. With the delicious, pizzas and pasta, the food is a must-try. We usually have the Cheese roll (Cheese Garlic Bread) and Goat Cheese plus asparagus, penne arrabbiata/penne pesto (extra cream), Fiamma, focaccia in pizza and the trats nostalgia & Bitter Chocolate Ice Cream for dessert. We recently tried their buffet breakfast menu and it includes a lavish spread of items across multiple cuisines. From a wide range of cheese & meats, to live counter for dosas & eggs (as per your preference), different types of bread, fresh juices, coffees/shakes, yoghurt & lots more.All in all, we always have a great experience at Trattoria & the courteous, polite staff enhance this experience.
Chefs at Taj seem to have a habit of taking fine ingredients and not getting the best out of them. Prosciutto for example was dry and flaky, pork loin lacked any meaningful flavour & the salted caramel ice-cream was way too salty. When you’re at a fine dining place you expect excellence & this experience was far from it.
