Place is clean, food nice and tasty, highlight was laccha pratha with vegetable curry, hookah and drinks also available with light music, and the best part is during rains eating in open air beside the waterfall is amazing
We went for lunch.First they said it will take 5 mins to vacant. Then the lady manager came and said 20 mins waiting.Inspite of a table empty, she was not ready to accommodate just the 2 of us reason that table was for 6 persons.Incase 6 guests turn up we don’t want to turn them down. Would neither visit nor recommend anyone to visit this place.Very rude and unacceptable behaviour overall.
Pathetic service. We ordered butter chicken and the meat was literally half cooked. At the first place they said they do serve drinks later on they said no idk why Overall the place is average and the road to reach is a bit off No ambience at all if you are planning for a open dine this is a place which you can consider Rest there is nothing as such Food quality and taste is average
Its a hidden gem!! Located approx 1 km away from lion’s point but in far interior though, however it was worth visiting for its great food..The 4 stars infact is only for food, they need to work on ambience and cleanliness. We ordered Paneer Tikka, veg Jalfrezi, butter roti (could be more soft though) , dal tadka and jeera rice..everything was excellent!!Must visit this place if you are planning a getaway at lonavala.
We had gone there as we had read good reviews on Zomato.. But, it is a nothing place.. Bad ambience +bad food.. Total waste of money.. Also, the way to reach there ia also very complicated.. Not recommended to anyone
Only place sits between the hill valley, must tickle your taste buds and warmth of the management, I would recommend must try achari allo, butter chicken, schwan fried rice, Indian chicken handi curry Maratha style.Great aroma n texture.. stimulates the palate .. amazing people , professional hospitality management.
The quintessential idea of a place sometimes lie in providing the most unique experience one can have. Sometimes our desideration for happiness is more satisfying when we indulge in the comforting greens, fresh air & running water. LION’S DHAABA believes in providing you this everlasting experience to embrace in the arms of mother nature. So this place has everything to offer for a great weekend/holiday/family plans. They have Bougainvillea, villas for your stay, some amazing playtime to showcase your snooker skills, a small swimming pool to play basic watersports with your friends & family, a place to peacefully hog on to some delicious dhaaba cooked food & a serene nature to refresh your minds from the busy city life. Everything, under one roof!Coming to Food!A king-size platter consisting of juicy & tender pieces of chicken seekh kebab, chicken lasooni, chicken Afghani, chicken tandoori which easily fits to 6 people with good appetite. Kebabs were lip-smacking with pure flavors of tandoor in it. I loved the whole presentation of the platter, which was accompanied with some green chutney. Everything, on point.Chicken HandiMake a point to order this perfect dhaaba styled cooked chicken handi, which can easily serve 3 people with it’s gravy & succulent chicken pieces. The gravy went smooth with some butter rotis we had. Paneer LababdarI am not a big fan of paneer, though I liked the gravy which was moderately spicy in taste & went well with jeera rice.Sheer KurmaThe consistency & purity of ingredients in this dessert made it special & more wanting. It was the dessert for the day & I loved it.All in All!The place makes you forget about all your tensions & problems, makes you realize how beautiful this nature is, and if you visit it, make sure to visit Lion’s Dhaaba in Monsoon season. The service is supreme, the owner is a humble person who looks after his customer’s needs & the place makes you visit it again & again. makmaeverything.wordpress.com
