Good place for Sea Food lovers. We had the shell fish sukha and it was excellent. Pompret was ok but Surmai was nice. We enjoyed the place so much that we ended up eating there most of the time. They give a paan shot in a glass towards the end which is a nice touch. Centrally located.
Really bad experience with this restaurantI had a party at home and I take a parcel from lilak veg noodle couse I have some guest r pure veg but in noodle thaire was chicken pieces which is really disappointingI will suggest not to go in this restaurant if u r vegetarian
Visited LILAK RESTAURANT and BAR while on a trip to Alibaug. This is a casual dining place with pretty good interiors for the location. Suitable for a nice quiet lunch with family or friends.FOOOOOD FIRST!!!1. HOT AND SOUR SOUP- A bit hot soup with veggies. A bit thick but great2. PRAWNS FRY- with a spicy rawa masala coating. A medium sized prawns were crisp fried. Tasted good.3. CHICKEN TANDOORI- very nicely marinated and tandoored.4. PANEER CRISPY- medium sized paneer chunks in red chilly+soy gravy.5. BUTTER CHICKEN- a medium sweet and spicy thick gravy chicken. Loved it. Enjoy with parathas!6. SWEET LIME SODA- this was a bit strong. Had to mix water to dilute it.7. PAAN SHOTS- This was a complimentary drink after our heavy meal. Enjoyed it!!NOW EVERYTHING ELSE!!!the interiors of the place is good. The seating arrangement also does not seem congested even if the place is not that huge. The service is great and fast. The place was almost oocupied when we reached there. The food is also great and the pricing is also apt!
Hopped in here on Tuesday evening with family for a dinner. Ambience is good, interior was appealing.Food was average. They dint had a single dish available in mutton inspite of being it on the menu. Thier famous dish fish basket which was suggested by 1 of my guest was again not available said by server and manager claims that it would take more than an hour to make that dish which once again disappointed us.Need an improvement.
Best restaurant to have dinner with friends or family. Ambiance is good. soft music that won’t disturb your chit chats or meetings. Food is very authentic and tasty. I go to lilac once in a month for the last 10 years and I got to say the taste is still the same. Service is fast and staff is very supportive. Overall it’s a good dine out restaurant in Alibaug.
