With a happy mood and a hungry tummy, I found myself hurriedly browsing through zomato looking for a place to munch in Khadki. Yes there are very good restaurants in here, like Chef’s way, Aaoji Khaaoji and Rosso Bianco, but I wanted to explore and try out a place I haven’t before. Just then, I came across this place which sparked my interest.FISH & ROLLS, by the looks of it, no vegetarian would want to set foot in here. But lucky for them(and for me), me being a non-vegetarian turned egg-etarian, I had to courage to explore these uncharted territories. It looked a bit shabby, as the only thing between the kitchen and the table, which, by the way, were just two, was nothing. So I could see the kitchen, which looked like a mess, but still decided to stay and try on the food, not judging the place by the state of its kitchen. The staff, on sole person working in there, greeted me warmly. With just 10-15% of the menu being vegetarian, I did not have trouble decided on what I was going to dine on. DOUBLE EGG ROLL and VEG. CHEESE BURGER it was for the night.Both the items took around 15 minutes of preparation, and were served simultaneously. Also, by the looks of its presentation, they looked quite decent. The egg roll was yummy, with a nice portion of veggies and mayo to add tang to item. The burger was also nice, hefty infact, with big buns and crunchy, warm aloo tikki patty. A good eat. Though it was cheese burger, there hardly was any cheese, but a decent amount of mayo made it ‘not dry’.Now coming to the value for money aspect of it, which was, I felt, below average. As in taste was really good, better than what I expected, but the pricing should have been 20 bucks less, each. I don’t think i will be going there again as there are hardly any vegetarian dishes in there. But when it comes to non veg, it has a huge variety, and it seemed delicious too.Happy Burping!!!
Never order food from this restaurant. I placed order and after 60 min this restaurant cancelled order. Highly unprofessional attitude of the restaurant
Fish n rolls is authentic fast food place that serves fresh food items at affordable price , also the taste and quantity is very pleasing, speciality in chicken and fish items like chicken burger fish burger, submarine and last not the least is the continental chicken and fish items , owner and staff is very polite and serves the food as customer requirement . No additive used only natural food items. A must try food joint in pune .All best to fish n rolls for their future endeavours.
