Wrong packing
So one day, late evening was planning for my dinner and came across this place on Zomato. POORVA FOOD MALL it said, and it came to me that it might be a big open space where they serve a wide range of stuff, similar to what we generally have in food courts at malls. And its quite extensive menu made me believe that as well. Never mind the ambience, cause I opted for home delivery. There was some offer going on, and so I got myself a decent deal. I had a CHINESE MEAL COMBO which consisted of FRIED RICE, MANCHURIAN GRAVY and a small bottle of coke. The portion size was adequate enough, and surpirsingly I didn’t find it spicy at all. So it wouldnt be wrong if I said that I really enjoyed that dish of big chunks of manchurain with its gravy and rice. I also ordered a CHICKEN TIKKA GRILLED SANDWICH and CHICKEN FINGERS. These proved to be a good snack. The sandwich was really tasty with a yummy tang of chicken and cheese. Chicken fingers did the work of fries over here, being crunchy and all.Now I actually had a good time eating food from here, and Poorvas food mall being located not far from where I stay, I made up my mind that I will visit it some day.And so, pretty recently I embarked on a journey to check out PFM. I was like really surpirsed to know that its not a big mall but a small, and visibly unclean place. It wasnt unclean but it looked really shabby and unkept. Firstly I had some trouble finding it because there was no sign board or any name plate here! I got a bit skeptical considering all these factors, and also no interest from their staff, but I have walked 4 kms and wasn’t planning to go empty stomach.Glancing over its menu, I ordered these,DOUBLE EGG ROLL – First thing that I appreciated was its HUGE size. It was truly double, atleast its size conveyed so. The taste was fairly casual, majorly egg and mayo in there, while the maida paratha proving to be a good base for them all. If you want something filling, go for this!CRISPY VEG BURGER – Again something with appreciable size, but by just looking at it I knew that its gonna be messy. It had really small buns compared to the stuffings inside. Just a patty, few slices of onion, tomato, a bit of mayo and cheese. Definitely not the best burger you ever had, but something managable.BUTTER SCOTCH SHAKE – I would just say one word here, YUMMY and RECOMMENDED. Yes I know there are 2 but bear with my poor mathematical skills.I also threw in a bottle of coke for myself, but no point in talking about it right!PFM is a really good place, like not ambience or service wise, but purly judging by its food. The pricese are value for money, and you get amazing and yummy stuff for what its worth. I would definitely keep PFM as my regular eating spot for anytime I want to munch on something good.Happy Burping!!!
