Just went to Shalimar at Mohammad Ali Road. Their ambiance is amazing, so well maintained. This vintage restaurant servers amazing Mughlai Food. From our experience, we really enjoyed the main course. The typical Mughlai swaad ohho. We loved their Paneer Tikka Masala and Kolhapuri Sabzi along with Rumali Roti (It’s the best Rumali Roti we have ever had). In dessert we loveeddd the Rabdi. So well made. A must try!! They can improve on the starters (tastewise). Overall we had a great experience. Hope this review helps 🙂
Shalimar The Name is Enough For This Restaurant , They Serve Premium Mughlai and Continental Food.I Visited the Bhindi Bazaar Outlet which is The oldest and The first outlet started in 1970 .Ambience – The Ambience is Really good , as Per the Manager, they have recently Renovated this Place and The seating area is Ample easily For 150-200 people .The 1st floor Is Fully Air conditioned with really good Lightings and Frames.FoodWe orderedPaneer Butter MasalaThe gravy was thick made by tomato a, cashew and Mughlai flavours and Spices , Extremely DelicousButter NanIm Really serious This naan was something else , It was round and buttery but it was really Soft and Chewy . really you should Try this out.Paneer ChillyThe presentation was really good and paneer was soft , Chilly masala was delicious.Service – The Service is Really good , but this Place is So crowded all the time that you have to wait a little.
The restaurant was decent, kebabs were cooked to melt in mouth, spices are great, tried naan and lucknowi chicken we are new to this place and upon waiter suggestion we ordered lucknawi chicken, the chicken pieces are good but the taste if curry was so so.
Shalimar is located at Mohannad Ali road, cst. It is famous for Biryani, Muglai, North Indian , Chines , Faluda , Desert etc. The Chicken biryani and mutton biryani are good . Chicken Tandoori is tasty. Ice and Faluda are nice. Sek kebab and chicken crispy and chicken chilli are delicious .Maal poha are good.Tandoori pizza are yummy. It’s like family restaurant. Must visit with your family and friends.
This place is heaven for people craving for mughlai food and falooda all the time. since i have come to mumbai this place has a special place in my heart. I love eating their kepsa , tikka , kebabs and specially falooda.Not a single dish can disappoint a foodie.The staff is commendable and serves food with love.Ambience is wonderful.
