The mutton biryani was tasteless and was smelling raw mustard oil. Not sure if old biryani was tossed with raw mustard oil and served. Mutton shami kabab was not too bad. Overall food was not worth of money.

I ordered Bengali Chicken Biryani and Biryani combo from this place which came with Chicken Shammi Kebab, raita and salad.Telling about Bengali Chicken Biryani, please do not expect authentic Bengali cuisine from here. The owner or the chef of this restaurant does not have any idea of the Bengali food. Adding potato, egg, and couple of chicken pieces in masala rice does not make it Bengali Biryani. As one can see in the attached picture, the so called ‘Bengali Chicken Biryani’ has tej patta and masala in it, contradicting the authenticity of the Biryani. Also, If I consider it as a normal Hyderabadi Biryani, it really does not seem worth of Rs. 300+taxes.Now, elaborating about Biryani Combo which came with regular Biryani, Chicken Shammi Kebab, raita, and salad. The biryani was same as that of so called Bengali chicken biryani but of mini-size. I cannot comment about Shammi Kebab as I could not understand what the thing was. However, whatever it was, did not tasted good. The raita was okay and the salad was actually couple of onion slices. This Biryani combo also seemed over-priced (Rs. 320+taxes), whether be it by taste or by portion-size.All in all, a devastating experience, will never order anything from this place. Though, some reviews on Zomato did warn about the same, especially how they are misleading people with their Bengali Biryani, I underestimated it and took a chance (not a wise decision).Hope this review will help you guys not to fall into their misleading item descriptions and waste your money into a disappointing experience.
Ordered awathi and chicken biryani quite a few times.. I like their awathi biryani, I tried it first time and it was mouth watering..
You won’t get a better Bengali cuisine in Balewadi area than this. Delicious. Finger licking. Polite behaviour. Most importantly, price worthy!
Currently ordering from this restaurant almost every single day through uber eats. I have tried their special bengali chicken biriyani meal (which is my go to item), special awadhi chicken biriyani meal and special fish thali. In the bengali biriyani you will get 2 pieces of chicken, 1 piece of hard boiled egg and 1 piece of potato along with the rice. The awadhi biriyani is pretty same but in place of potato and egg they give you a piece of kebab. In the fish thali they give you bengali style fish curry with potato and rice.I mostly order from the pockeats section in uber eats app and with extra promotion codes the total price for any meal comes to 50 to 60 rupees. Taste wise the food is great.
